Super Junior (

SJ or
SuJu (슈주), is a popular
boy bandfrom
South Korea formed by
S.M. Entertainment in 2005. The group debuted with 12 members:
Leeteuk (Leader),
Heechul,
Han Geng,
Yesung,
Kangin,
Shindong,
Sungmin,
Eunhyuk,
Donghae,
Siwon,
Ryeowook,
Kibum and later added at 13th member named
Kyuhyun; they are one of the largest boy bands in the world. As of 2010, 10 members are active, due to Han Geng's lawsuit with SM Entertainment which led to him leaving the group (now pursuing his own singing career in the Mandarin-Pop entertainment industry), Kangin's temporary leave of absence for mandatory
military service and Kibum's pursuit of an acting career. However, the other members have insisted that the two (Kangin and Kibum) are still part of the group, and mentioned that they are saddened by Han Geng's departure from the group.
Super Junior has released and contributed in 20 different kinds of records with varying degrees of success. Over the years, they have been divided into smaller sub groups, simultaneously targeting different music industries and audiences. Largely due to Super Junior's success as entertainers, other Korean entertainment managements began to train their music groups in other areas of entertainment, such as
acting and
hosting.In addition to their commercial success, Super Junior has earned seven music awards from the
M.net Asian Music Awards, eleven from the
Golden Disk Awards, and is the second singing group to win Favorite Artist Korea at the 2008
MTV Asia Awards after
JTL in 2003.

2PM
2PM is a
South Korean boy band, originally a seven-member group, but currently consisting of six members due to the sudden contract termination of leader
Jaebeom following an Internet controversy in September 2009. They are managed by
JYP Entertainment. The current members are
Junsu, Chansung, Wooyoung, Nichkhun, Taec Yeon and Junho. 2PM is one of the two subgroups branched out from the eleven-member (before Jaebeom's departure) boy band One Day, the other being
2AM. They debuted with the song "10 Jeom Manjeome 10 Jeom" (
10점 만점에 10점, lit.

The members are Choi Jong Hoon (guitar and keyboard), Lee Hong Ki (lead vocals), Lee Jae Jin (bass and vocals), Song Seung Hyun (guitar and vocals), and Choi Min Hwan (drums). Their debut album, titled "Cheerful Sensibility", was the sixth best-selling album in 2007. Their debut song 'Lovesick' stayed on top of K-Pop charts for 8 consecutive weeks.Oh Won Bin had been a member of the band up until the beginning of 2009. CN BLUE
CN Blue (Korean: 씨엔블루), stylized as CNBLUE, is a South Korean Boy band "CN is an abbreviation of ‘Code Name’ while BLUE is an abbreviation of the members’ individual images," said by one of the members. ‘Burning’ represents Lee Jong Hyun, ‘Lovely’ represents Kang Minhyuk, ‘Untouchable’ represents Lee Jung Shin, and ‘Emotion’ representsJung Yong Hwa. Debuted on August 19, 2009 in Japan with the band's first mini album, Now or Never. They were coined as the "2nd FT Island". The group released four teasers for their 1st album Bluetory, starring one member per each of the videos in the sequence of Jonghyun, Minhyuk, Jungshin and lastly, Yonghwa on the 6th, 8th, 11th and 13 January respectively. On the January 14, CN Blue debuted their first mini-album with lead single "I'm a Loner" (Korean: 외톨이야). Their popular songs are I'm a loner, Love and the latest is L.O.V.E girl and more else.

B1A4 (Korean: 비원에이포) is a five member South Korean boy band founded by WM Entertainment in 2011. The band consists of Jinyoung (leader), Baro, Gongchan, Sandeul, and CNU (Shin Woo). They were introduced in a webtoon and mix pop with rock for their debut album. Their group name, B1A4, has been explained as being due to one member having B blood type, and the other four having A blood type. It also stands for "Be The One, All For One". Their song is Okay.

South Korean pop group that consists of six members: C.A.P, Chunji, L.Joe, Niel, Ricky, Changjo. They are under the label T.O.P. Media and were founded in 2010 by
Andy Lee of
Shinhwa. They released their album, Come Into the World, on July 9, 2010 and made their debut on July 10, 2010 on Music Core.
Before their official debut, Teen Top held a showcase at Lotte World covering to various songs by artists including
Big Bang,
2PM and
Shinhwa.

U-KISS
U-KISS (Korean: 유키스) is a seven-member South Korean boy band formed by NH Media in 2008. The members include Shin Soohyun, Elison Kim (also known as Eli), Kevin Woo,Shin Dongho, Lee Kiseop, Hoon and AJ ( both joined the group in 2011 ). U-KISS stands for Ubiquitous Korean International (Idol) Super Star. They debuted in Japan on August 15, 2008 and in South Korea on August 28, 2008.[1] Later in late 2009, six-member U-KISS was turned into seven-member U-KISS with the addition of Lee Kiseop. When the original members Alexander Lee Eusebio and Kim Kibum's contracts were terminated in early 2011, they were replaced by Hoon and AJ. The group has released one full-length album, five mini albums and various singles. Their first full length album, Only One, was released on February 3, 2010. The members of the group have had various activities as solo entertainers, such as acting in dramas, movies, sitcoms, and musicals and hosting various reality-variety shows and music shows. The group also staged successful concerts outside Korea.

Rain under a branch of his label J.Tune Entertainment called J.Tune Camp. The five members include Seung Ho (Yang Seung Ho : Leader), G.O (Jung Byung Hee : Main Vocalist), Joon (Lee Chang Sun : Vocalist), Thunder/Cheon Doong (Park Sang Hyun : Vocalist/Rapper), and Mir (Bang Cheol Yong : Rapper). The group debuted on October 9, 2009 at Rain's
Legend of Rainism concert.
On October 14, 2009 the group released their debut single album, "Just BLAQ", which topped various on-line and off-line music charts in South Korea. SHINEE
Shinee (샤이니, stylized as SHINee, pronounced /ˈʃaɪniː/ "shiny") is acontemporary R&B South Korean boy band. Formed by SM Entertainment in 2008, they made their debut on May 25, 2008 on SBS's Inkigayo with their promotional single, "Noona Neomu Yeppeo (Replay)" ("누난 너무 예뻐(Replay)", lit. "Older Girl, You're So Pretty (Replay)"). The group consists of Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho and Taemin. Since their debut, Shinee has released two full-length albums, three mini-albums, and various singles. They have also won many awards, held a
concert tour and starred in their own reality shows. Shinee is considered to be a fashion icon having started the "Shinee Trend". They made their

SS501 (pronounced as Double-S Five-Oh-One or Deo Beul E Seu Oh Gong Il (더블에스오공일) in Korean) is a popular South Korean boy band formed under the management of Daesung Entertainment, also known as DSP Entertainment. All the members of the group have subsequently left DSP Entertainment to different management companies, but they still intend to stay together as SS501. The name of the band is a combination of letters and numbers that have special meaning. The first “S” stands for “Superstar". The second “S” is an abbreviation for "Singer". The combination of 5, 0, and 1 symbolizes "five members united as one forever".
